Introduction to Meisner : Meisner Oyunculuğuyla Tanışma tam size göre.

  1. Gerçekçi oyunculuğu öğrenmek istiyorum
  2. Sahnede kafamın içindeki düşüncelerden kurtulmalıyım, kendimi izlemeyi bırakıp özgürleşmeliyim
  3. Oyunculuk yaparken tekrar eğlenmek istiyorum, neden aktör / aktris olduğumu hatırlamak istiyorum

L’avare proudly hosts one of Europe’s most famous name in Meisner Technique on Acting : Mike Bernardin

For anyone who wants to learn how to be truthful on stage or in front of a camera this workshop in English (!!) with Turkish translations is for you:

Introduction to Meisner.

Starting Friday eve lasts till Sunday afternoon, an Acting Workshop with famous Mike Bernardin in Ankara , this can not more exciting 🙂

Mike Bernardin presents an exploration of The Meisner Technique

When I ask people at the beginning of a class, “Why are you here?” there are three answers that most commonly feature:

1) I want to find a way to be more truthful in my acting
2) I need to get out of my head, I want to get free
3) I want to rediscover some of the fun of acting, why I became an actor in the first place

Consider some questions:- What if your performance couldn’t be “wrong”? What if you could go into an audition knowing almost nothing about the character, but still feel equipped to bring powerful choices to the reading? What if you could recover the pleasure of playing out of your activated imagination…? What if you were free of all anxiety about what you’re “supposed to be doing”?

World famous among acting practitioners, Sanford Meisner created a system of actor training which gets to the heart of every actor’s greatest challenge; truthful behaviour. When you speak and behave truthfully, you no longer have to spend energy convincing the audience of anything – they can feel it for themselves.

Self-consciousness and self-censorship are enemies to the free expression which an actor needs. Meisner’s key exercises help you place your attention outside yourself, leading to emotional freedom and deep identification with the imaginary circumstances.

The Meisner Technique is unique in this emphasis, helping actors confront and overcome their habitual limits and learn through visceral experience what it means to be truly “in the moment”.

This weekend intensive course will demonstrate the fundamental exercises which are at the heart  of Meisner’s approach to actor-training. Through them you can get a sense of the difference between acting and living.

Repetition, Independent Activities, The Knock-at-the-door: these help you yo practice the foundational values of all good acting; listening, responding spontaneously to your partner, living truthfully, moment by moment, under the imagined circumstances. I look forwad to meeting you!
